ARK: Survival Evolved - Part 2 - Multiplatform. Thanks Obey, I know it shows up in the browser but just was not sure how much traffic you wanted. I use Black. Box. Servers. http: //blackboxservers. Very few issues. Easy to manage mods. The only problem I've encountered was when Ark does a bigger update (original map + The Island) where every single structure disappears and I have to roll back the server, then sometimes it'll load only 1 type of structure e.

Very annoying. Scorched Earth seems pretty stable so far though. I might open it up to some whirlpool players, but I'll check with the other people I play with first : )an. Not sure what map we want to play on yet or how that works, do you have to start a new character on level 1 if you change map/level? Anyone have a recommended server for beginners? I can recommend a server run by Obey.

Toonami (/ t uː ˈ n ɑː m i / too-NAH-mee, stylized as TOONAMI) is a television programming block that primarily consists of American animation and Japanese anime.

The. Fist which is called Scorched Perth. It's a PVE server so no need to worry about getting killed by other players and every person I have encountered on there has been very helpful. I had never played prior to playing on that server so I had tons of questions. Afaik yes moving servers resets you back to lvl 1.

It may be worth the 2 of you playing together on your own server so you can get a handle on the game and its mechanics. Not sure what map we want to play on yet or how that works, do you have to start a new character on level 1 if you change map/level? Hey Mate,I started playing probably two months ago, have loved it ever since. I started playing on 'The Center' which was a free dlc map. Not sure if it still is.

That was awesome. I would suggest starting on a PVE server as well, there are heaps within the internal server browser for ARK. I would advise playing on a server which has increased rates (by this I mean, you gather resources faster, you tame dino's faster and you level up faster). Just means you don't need to sink as much time into it. DWhat's the Scorched Earth optimization like on PC? I love vanilla ARK but (as with probably everyone else) runs as a tentative slideshow on my PC. Runs much better for me than the vanilla map.

Just had to find a sweet spot with the settings. Ravensbane writes.. Runs much better for me than the vanilla map. Just had to find a sweet spot with the settings. Yeah that's the same for me with the Island map – had to find that sweet spot between eye candy and performance. Scorched Earth runs much better than vanilla Ark because: 1.

Barely any trees to render. Barely any water to render. It's just sand, rock and sky. Finally killed a rock elemental and wow did I get a surprise when its corpse yields Crystal, Metal, Obsidian, Oil, Stone, and Sulfur.

Ark, so probably is now. Yup. Got about 3.

Managed to have a go of a randomised map last night. Took ages to generate which is understandable I guess. Used to relying on the spawn locations being Easy, Hard etc. This time picked a south one and got dumped on a snowy island quite far from main land with a t- rex and few woolie mammoths. Tried swimming to main land and got eaten by a large fish/dolphin thing. That was the extent of my playing.

Will try more today if I get a chance. I love starting out on Ark, that's the survival- est part of all, when you have nothing and everything is a threat, you have to build yourself up from nothing until you're safe.

Unfortunately, flying critters make the game too easy – as soon as you have one tamed flier, the game is easysauce. I'd love to run a game where there's no fliers. It would be a lot more challenging. Obey The Fist! writes..

Ark, that's the survival- est part of all, when you have nothing and everything is a threat, you have to build yourself up from nothing until you're safe. Totally agree. The earliest phases where you have basically nothing and everything is dangerous is one of the best survival experiences out there.

The game bogs down once you start the super long tames or are having to protect your base somehow while you sleep. Obey The Fist! writes.. I'd love to run a game where there's no fliers.

It would be a lot more challenging. Scorched Earth actually helped with this since it removed two of the flyers.

They could have gone further and remove the argy as well leaving just the Moths and Wyverns. I just bought this 5. USD)Is there any aussies that play this? Maximo. 10. 1 writes.. I just bought this 5.

Is there any aussies that play this? Amazingly low price considering how rich and complex and detailed the game is. Plenty of Australians play it. If you want my advice, the best way to find Australians is to pick good private servers – you can tell the aussie hosted servers by the low pings in the server browser.

The official servers are very griefy and there's no telling where the players on them will be from. Did you get your face eaten off by a dinosaur the first time you tried to play? First time I played Ark, was my 2nd time ever using a Steam Controller, so many things were weird.

I need to try setup a good control scheme with that first, then start learning the game)I first died of starvation since the berries didnt seem to do much for the food. Then my 3 year old son wanted me to go see the dinosaur which was a Dilophosaur which I proceeded to bash with my care fists. I killed it. Not long after another one did kill me. Loving it so far, even though I have only played maybe 3.

How does the leveling work? Is each server a new character starting at 1? Maximo. 10. 1 writes.. I first died of starvation since the berries didnt seem to do much for the food.

You did good, usually it's a dino that gets you. You need to eat 1. Eating raw meat will damage your health. Do not eat the black narcoberries. They put you to sleep, which will kill you. These are used for knocking out dinos so you can tame them. The white stimberries feed you but make you thirsty. The Tattooist Full Movie.

The other berries are all fine and are just different colours so you can make paints with them. Maximo. 10. 1 writes..

Toonami - Wikipedia. Toonami (too- NAH- mee, stylized as TOONAMI) is a television programming block that primarily consists of Americananimation and Japaneseanime. It was created by Sean Akins and Jason De.

Marco and produced by Williams Street. The name is a portmanteau of the words "cartoon" and "tsunami", suggesting a "tidal wave" of animated shows. Toonami initially ran as an afternoon and evening block on Cartoon Network aimed at teens 1. In its original run, the block was known for showcasing action anime that became widely popular with American audiences. It was also recognized for its distinctive space- themed backdrop, anime music videos, drum and bass- flavored soundtrack, and host (a robot named T. O. M., short for Toonami Operations Module). On May 2. 6, 2. 01.

Cartoon Network relaunched Toonami as part of their Adult Swim block—which continues as a Saturday night action block from its forerunner, Midnight Run. Shows from the older lineup have occasionally returned, along with newer shows. Outside the United States, Cartoon Network aired Toonami blocks in Australia from 2.

In the United Kingdom, Toonami was a standalone channel from 2. In December 2. 01. Toonami was launched as a standlone channel in Asia- Pacific. Similar channels were launched in India in 2. France in 2. 01. 6. History and events[edit]1.

Moltar era[edit]Toonami was Cartoon Network's primary action- animation block. The block premiered on March 1. It initially replaced Power Zone, Cartoon Network's most recent incarnation of the Super Adventures block, which had been a staple on the network since October 1, 1. Toonami was originally a weekday afternoon cartoon and action block hosted by Space Ghost villain- turned- producer Moltar (voiced by C. Martin Croker) at the Ghost Planet Industries building from 1. T. O. M. 1 era[edit]On Saturday, July 1. Cartoon Network relaunched Toonami with a new environment, the Ghost Planet Spaceship Absolution, and a new host named T. O. M. (voiced by Sonny Strait), which introduced viewers to him with this speech: “So it's a brand new Toonami, but the mission objectives remain the same. My name is TOM. I'm the new Moltar. Welcome aboard the Ghost Planet Spaceship Absolution, Cartoon Network's first and only interstellar broadcast and exploration vehicle. I'll give you the tour later.

From this day forward she is completely responsible for all Toonami transmissions. I'm takin' you guys into the new millennium! Gorillaz including "Clint Eastwood" and "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger", Kenna's "Hellbent," and from Daft Punk's Interstella 5. Another event was Dragon Ball Z taking over the Midnight Run for a week starting on March 2.

Starting in September 2. Toonami presented special interactive events known as Total Immersion Events (TIEs). These TIEs took place both on- air during Toonami and online at the official site, Toonami.

Dragon Ball Z,[3] returned for a new season. The first TIE was The Intruder, which introduced T. O. M.'s companion, an AI matrix known as S. A. R. A. (voiced by Sally Timms).

The Intruder was an eight episode mini- series that aired during Toonami from September 1. It involved the Absolution being attacked by an alien blob known only as "the Intruder", which ultimately devoured T. O. M. 2. 00. 0–'0. T. O. M. 2 era[edit]. Toonami logo used from February 2.

March 1. 4, 2. 00. Though The Intruder resulted in the destruction of T. O. M., he was soon after upgraded by S. A. R. A. from a short Bomberman- esque character to a taller, sleeker, deeper- voiced incarnation dubbed T.

O. M. 2 (voiced by Steven Blum, who has since been the voice of all subsequent incarnations of the character). A Saturday morning incarnation, Toonami Rising Sun, ran from 2. It later ran from 1. This block was somewhat hampered to avoid competing with sister network Kids' WB.

From July 3. 0, 2. June 2. 8, 2. 00. Kids WB aired a Toonami block that was, more or less, the Kids' WB lineup with the Toonami name. It was critically panned by industry observers, who noticed that the action branding of the block - which had added shows such as Generation O!, Scooby- Doo, and The Nightmare Room, a live- action series created by Goosebumps author R. L. Stine - did not translate content- wise. In spring 2. 00. 2, Kids' WB announced that they would drop the Toonami name from their weekday lineup, once again making the Toonami brand exclusive to Cartoon Network. One reason for the move from weekdays to Saturday nights was because some of the shows on the weekday lineup became too violent for a weekday broadcast on the network. The new Toonami lineup showcased anime such as Naruto, Rave Master, Duel Masters, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, One Piece, Bobobo- bo Bo- bobo, Zatch Bell, and Pokémon Chronicles, as well as premiered North American productions including Teen Titans, Megas XLR, Justice League Unlimited, and IGPX, Toonami's first and only original production co- produced by Production I.
