The purpose of this article and the many others like it is to bring the concept of the pineal gland and the Out- of- Body Experience phenomenon into the common vernacular. METAtonin may function on a subtler level also, at a diminished and steady level, a basal level, during gestation. In this instance it may serve as the usher of consciousness.
